Industrial Electroplating Rectifier is a kind of electronic device which changes high voltage alternate current (A.C.) into low voltage direct current (D.C.). Electroplating rectifier is a very crucial component for any industry. For different industrial applications the electroplating rectifiers are available in a range starting from 1 Volt to 1000 Volts, to suit varying industrial requirements. Today these rectifiers are being used for various electro-chemical processes like Anodizing, Hydrogenation and more.
Electroplating is technique accomplished through electro deposition process. The process involves producing a coating, mostly metallic, on a surface by the action of electric current. Electroplating rectifiers are single phase or three phase devices on the basis of their rating. Generally, 8V, 12V, 16V, 20V, 24V rectifiers are used in industries having current rating of 500 Amp and above

Specifications

Starting Circuitry

Rectifiers are designed for 2-3 phase and are available for operations within a wide range of voltage fluctuations. They are preferable to connect the input to the rectifier through a proper protective device, to provide positive protection to personal and the system, at the time of maintenance or in case a fault occurs.

DC Output Control
The function of the variable output controls is to control the voltage or current or its operating range by varying input voltage to the main transformer primary. The DC output voltage variation is achieved steplessly 0-100% by means of an on load roller type power's make voltage regulator.

Bridge Rectifier

Bridge rectifiers are used with electronic equipments to provide full wave rectification from an AC power supply. It is also called  full-wave rectifier because it makes use of all the AC wave, that is both positive and negative parts. It also produce full-wave DC voltage output.



Advantage of Bridge Rectifiers
  • One of the notable benefits of bridge rectifier is that with a given transformer, it produces a voltage output that is nearly twice that of conventional full-wave circuit.
  • Bridge rectifiers have low ratio of peak inverse voltage as compared to average output voltage.
Bridge rectifiers are rated by the maximum current they can pass and the maximum reverse voltage they can withstand.

  • It will be designed such that it will take up/absorb the spike/surges produced in the system, which no other manufacturer is giving. The spike which being of very high voltage persists for milisec if passed on to the system, will result into damage/burnt of all the electrical/electronic devices connected with it results in heavy loss.
  • Our rectifier will be suitable for 100% load for continuous duty cycle and recommended to put 10% over load also.
  • The efficiency of our transformer used in the rectifier will be more than 95%.
  • the ripple contents of our rectifier will not be more than 5% of the value while in other manufacturers case, the ripple contents are always higher even more than 10% by which the output dc voltage will not be pure and will not perform efficiently.
  • We design our rectifiers in such a way that their temperature rise should not increase above 25-27 degree centigrade above ambient at 100% load results in higher efficiency and lesser losses while in others case, they design their rectifier with 45 degree centigrade temp. Rise above ambient.
  • We always use IPT transformers in our rectifiers, which further reduces the losses of the system while any other manufacturer is not using the same.
