Variable Voltage Transformers

The continuously variable Voltage Transformer are meant for smooth control of electric power, AC or DC that to on heavy load. Confirming to IS 335, these variable voltage transformer offered by us are basically oil cooled, floor mounting construction and immersed in transformer oil. The cores of the transformer are rigidly mounted on non magnetic frame. The high grade carbon brushes collect the current from side of the windings so that these transformers can handle full variation of the output ranging from 0 voltages to maximum.

We make use of standard transformer oil that is filled by the user at site where it is installed. We offer these variable voltage transformer with manual operation and motor operated mode with shaft driven by a high torque low speed drive motor through a gear train. These transformers are know for its efficiency as the time taken for the one revolution is 15 seconds up to 100 Amp models & 30 Seconds for above 100 amp models. We can also provide higher timings as per the requirement of our clients. The value is available in one revolution (approximately 350) of the handle and units are supplied without oil.
